We’re Param & Suchi — he grew up in Bihar, she grew up in Bengal, and we live in Bangalore. Together, we’ve spent over a decade exploring India not as armchair tour operators, but as travellers with backpacks and cameras on our shoulders.

We built Offbeat Payana because we were tired of generic travel agencies treating Eastern India like an afterthought — selling rushed pan-India packages with unrealistic drive times and commercial shopping traps. We believe Bihar, Jharkhand, and Bengal deserve dignity, authentic village warmth, honest pacing, and comfortable private cars.

We plan routes using major highways and established road networks wherever practical, with pre-inspected registered stays and private dedicated vehicles with experienced drivers. Param is from Bihar and we only operate circuits we have personally walked and would bring our own families on.
